Konstantin Popov has become West Asia junior champion
The girl’s section was dominated by Galina Mikheeva from Russia

The event ended in Sri-Lanka on June 10. 112 boys and girls participated in the event for U-20 players from 9 countries.
Having won in the last round Konstantin scored 7.5 points out of 9 and took the first place alone, being half a point ahead of silver and bronze medals winners.
Galina Mikheeva in the girl’s section showed a stunning performance with 8.5 points out of 9.
