Having scored 9 points out of 11, Dima shared the first U-15 junior place but came only 2-nd due to an unfavorable coefficient. It is worth mentioning that our player gained 180 Elo points! Alexander Fedosov, Russian and Asian school champion finished half a point less than the other three prize winners. Oleg Russkikh finished 5-th with 8 points scored.

We also congratulate Dmitry’s elder brother Alexander who managed to win U-17 Russian blitz championship. Sasha, who won a lot of medals representing the Moscow region, is ow in the process of moving to the Moscow chess federation, however we still support him and all his wonderful chess family. The second place in the same age group was won by Maxim Chertkov but had to move to the fifth place due to an unfavorable coefficient.
