Sergey Karjakin performed a simultaneous game against young chess players from Mauritius

The start of the event was marked by greetings from the Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Mauritius Irada Zeynalova and the World champion who wished everyone a good game.
The Russian grandmaster won 15 games out of 16, however Munean Vinkesh managed to draw his game and received a rare for Mauritius sweet prize: hazelnuts and milk jam. Others received badges and, without doubt, unforgettable impressions.
Irada Zeynalova Invited Sergey Karjakin to come to Mauritius while the Chairman of the local Chess federation asked to consider that tournament as only a starting point.
