International chess seminarians

From May 22 to 24, the Moscow Region Chess Federation, in partnership with the Chess Federation of Russia, hosted a hybrid International Seminar for organizers

Holding such seminars is a rare event for the Russian Federation, which is a significant achievement for the Moscow Region Chess Federation.

The seminar brought together the maximum number of 20 participants. It was led by Alexander Tkachev, the International Organizer and International Arbiter and lectured by Mikhail Kryukov, Honorary President of the Moscow Region Chess Federation and a renowned International Organizer and International Arbiter.

The event was organized by Tatyana Khilova, Organizational Director and Associate Organizer of the Moscow Region Chess Federation. The organizing committee also featured prominent International Organizers and Arbiters: Mikhail Klichev (Moscow Region), Yuri Grachev (Yaroslavl Region), and Viktor Rakhvalov (Nizhny Novgorod Region).

Attendees participated either online via Zoom or in person at the 4-star Greenwood Hotel in Krasnogorsk—a venue already familiar to chess community from February’s “Russian Chess Crown” tournament.

At the opening ceremony, participants were officially welcomed by Albert Minnullin, Executive Director of the Moscow Region Chess Federation, alongside Alexander Tkachev, Head of the Seminar and Executive Director of the Chess Federation of Russia.

The highly engaging and informative seminar concluded with a final test to assess the knowledge gained by all participants.
