Endgame of Consent
On December 5, a tournament titled “Endgame of Consent” took place in Budapest as part of the “Chess Diplomacy in Russian Houses” project

Russian and Hungarian chess enthusiasts competed at the Russian Cultural Center. The organizers were the RCC and the “King’s Gambit” chess club based there.
A New Year’s gift arrived from Russia: chess equipment and a board autographed by Sergey Karjakin, who also sent a video greeting to participants.

The Ambassador of Russian Federation to Hungary, Evgeny Stanislavov, joined the competition. Results were tallied separately for professionals and amateurs. In the professional category, chess club leaders Alexey Bravin and Mikhail Vrona took 1st and 3rd places, respectively.
The “Chess Diplomacy in Russian Houses” project is implemented by the Moscow Region Chess Federation in partnership with Rossotrudnichestvo.
