African Chess  League: Results of the 2nd Round!

On June 28, the second round of the “African Сhess League” international online tournament series was held as part of our large-scale “Chess Diplomacy” project

This round was marked by fierce competition and outstanding performances from teams representing  eight African countries and the team of Friends of the Moscow Region Chess Federation . The Madagascar national team won gold in the team standings. Second place went to the tournament debutantes, representatives of the Ethiopian Theophilus Chess Sport Club, while the team from Equatorial Guinea, leaders of the previous round,  fiinished third .

The individual standings were equally competitive, with 167 players fighting for a spot in the top three.
