African Chess League: Results of Round 5!

On 11 October, the fifth round of the African Chess League took place. The competition remained intense until the final games, and the results confirmed the high level of preparation demonstrated by all teams

Team standings:

Individual standings:
🥇 Tavaratra (Madagascar)
🥈 FyNyAinaK (Madagascar) — has already received the prize; standings points will be awarded
🥉 Pascaux19 (Mali)
Bemololo will also receive a prize.

We would also like to highlight that first place in the team standings and the top three positions in the individual standings were taken by representatives of the Moscow Region Chess Federation’s friends’ team. However, they competed outside the official standings, so the prize-winning places and points were distributed among the participants of the main competition. Their participation provided an excellent opportunity for friendly exchange of experience and once again demonstrated that chess unites people across borders. ♟🌍
