Boris Savchenko won tournament in Malaysia!
At the 1st Berjaya Global Chess Open 2026, our Grandmaster outperformed nearly a hundred chess players from 15 countries worldwide!
The prestigious tournament concluded on August 13. Boris scored 7 points out of 9, remaining undefeated throughout the entire event. Indian Grandmaster Harshavardhan G.B. finished behind him by additional criteria. Four players tied with 6.5 points each, with the bronze medal going to another Indian Grandmaster, Iniyan P.
