Iliana Masaeva is set to compete in the Friendship Match

Traditional Russia-China chess competition began on 2 August in Harbin, hosted at the Galaxy Happy World City Resort Hotel

Russia is represented by national champions and continental medallists across various age groups, including our young star Iliana Masaeva. Joining her are FIDE Master Matfei Yurasov (Moscow), Candidate Master Arseniy Kleshchevnikov (Moscow), Mikhail Ippolitov (Moscow), Viktoria Makhina (Vologda Region), Tatyana Mozolevskaya (Moscow), and Women’s Candidate Master Kristina Zavivaeva (Nizhny Novgorod Region).

The Chinese team features members of the national junior squad and champions of China in their respective age categories.
