Asian League: Results of the 6th Round!

On July 26, the sixth round of the second season of the “Asian League” international online tournament series was held as part of our large-scale “Chess Diplomacy” project

Kyrgyzstan team reclaimed the lead, overtaking the winners of the previous round, Thailand team, who finished in second place. The Philippine Academy for Chess Excellence took third place in the standings.

In the individual standings, Svyatoslav Lisenkov, competing for the Friends of the MRCF team, left no chance for his opponents and secured top spot. Emir Sharshenbekov finished in second place, while Ruslan Momunaliev rounded out the top three (both representing Kyrgyzstan). Julius Dan Augustine Ablin, playing for Thailand team, also earned competition points .

The next, seventh round of the Asian League will take place on August 23!
