At the invitation of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation and as part of international cooperation, Vladimir Teremkov, Mikhail Belyaev and Daria Manuylova represented the MRCF at the tournament in Kyzylorda.

Beyond the chess board, the tournament also offered a rich cultural experience. Following the fourth round, the organizers hosted a city tour and museum visit, concluded by a warm dinner reception. The young players fully immersed themselves in the atmosphere of national culture, enjoying traditional costumes, cuisine, and dancing.

In the classical chess tournament, Daria Manuylova placed 4th in the girls’ under-10 category, missing out on a medal on additional indicators and scored 6.5 points out of 9. Mikhail Belyaev finished 11th in the boys’ under-12 category with 6 points out of 9. Vladimir Teremkov took 13th place in the boys’ under-14 category, also scoring 6 out of 9.

However, in the rapid chess tournament, our players were simply unmatched. Mikhail took first place in the boys’ under-12 category, and Daria won the girls’ under-10 category. Vladimir Teremkov rounded out the success with a solid 8th place finishing in the boys’ under-14 group.
