Ambassador Tomikhin has played a pivotal role in strengthening diplomatic ties through chess. With his support, Russia and Thailand have successfully exchanged delegations for numerous international tournaments.
Furthermore, meetings with the Ambassador during visit to Thailand have become a tradition for chess players.
