On October 4 Durres welcomed round 1 of the U14, U16 and U18 World Youth Championship. The competition includes 717 players from 84 countries including 37 Russians and 3 players from the Moscow Region. Isaak Parpiev is playing in a U16 tournament. Alexander Fedosov is playing among U14 Juniors while Tatiana Shimanskaya is competing among U14 junior ladies.
