“Pobeda” culture palace in Ramenskoe municipal district welcomes the opening of Sergey Karjakin’s chess club

The Russian senator, the MRCF president and multiple world champion Sergey Karjakin took place in the event alongside the MRCF executive director Albert Minnullin, the abovementioned project manager Shamil Mansurov, the chairman of Ramenskoye district deputy council Yury Ermakov, “Pobeda” culture palace director Irina Barybina and the Zhukovsky SMO veteran branch manager Denis Kozlov.

11 out of 12 participants of the simultaneous game quickly laid down their arms before the multiple world champion, however one junior female chess player managed to make a draw. After the simultaneous game Sergey Karjakin talked to young players and answered the question whether it is hard to be a world champion in a humoristic way: it is not hard to be a world champion. It was hard to become one”.

All the participants received certificates and presents with Sergey Karjakin’s signature – cards, books and chess boards.
