The Russian team that had secured its first place one round prior to the end of the tournament won their rivals from Belarus in round 9 with a score of 3.5:0.5. Ivan Zemlynskii drew his game while Savva Vetokhin, Artem Uskov and Anna Shukhman won their games. Our sportsmen not only won gold medals but also set a historic record: 18 match points out of 18.
Chess players from Uzbekistan secured silver medals while sportsmen from Kazakhstan finished 3-rd.
