Russia topped the final standings at the Asian Youth Chess Championship
Chess players from Russia,competing under the FIDE flag, won the most medals in the competition just concluded in Bangkok
The representatives of the Russian delegation, many of whom were chess players from the Moscow region, earned 14 medals: four in rapide, six in classical and four in blitz.
From our region, 11 young chess players went to Thailand under the international cooperation program: Alexander Fedosov, Sofia Gaer, Ruslan Minkhajdarov, Kirill Minnullin, Uliana Bubnova, Aleksandra Morozova , Tatyana Klyueva, Sofia Bulik, Ilian Masaeva, Savely Yarkin and Ivan Yarkin. The delegation was headed by the MRCF Executive Director, head of the «Chess Diplomacy» project, Albert Minnullin.
