On August 16 “The Treasure island” park in Moscow welcomed a traditional chess tournament that was also a part of “The Day of India” festival

Six pupils of the Sunday school of Kazan cathedral in Ramenskoye won their cups. Vladislav Yaroslavtsev dominated the open tournament while Anna Seleznyova won the women’s section. As for the children’s tournament Vera Pepelova and Vasilisa Vakhovskaya won their age categories while Mikhail and Anatoly Belyaev won the silver and bronze medal accordingly.
The second place of the open tournament was won by Alexander Fride from Serpukhov.
Players from the Voskresensk chess club showed good chess skills as well. The bronze medals were won by Lev Erlikh and Ksenia Teterkina.
