Mikhail Markov became silver medalist at the Asian School Chess Championship

Misha Markov, competing in the Boys’ Under 7 category, scored 7.5 points out of 9 and secured second place. Sofia Gaer (Girls’ Under 13) finished in fourth place in the standings. In total, Russian participants won six medals.
