The competitions were held on October 25th in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.
In the Boys’ Under 7 tournament, Misha Markov scored a perfect 7 out of 7 points, becoming the undisputed champion. Congratulations on this outstanding achievement!
Another rising star from the Moscow region, Sofia Gaer, finished in ninth place in the Girls’ Under 13 category with 4.5 points.
Other notable Russian performances included Kirill Morozevich, who won the Boys’ Under 9 tournament; German Kalinichenko (2nd place in Boys’ Under 11); Artem Meshcheryakov (2nd place in Boys’ Under 17); Miroslav Vinogradov-Baturin (3rd place in Boys’ Under 13); and Azalia Miftakhova (3rd place in Girls’ Under 17).
