A remarkable meeting of outstanding representatives of their generation took place on the sidelines of the “Russian Chess Crown” International Festival!

The 12th World Chess Champion and oldest living world champion, the legendary Anatoly Karpov and the youngest International Master in chess history, 11-year-old Roman  Shogdzhiev, shared a warm conversation about the past and the future. Anatoly  Yevgenyevich wished Roman a successful and illustrious chess career!

This meeting has become a vivid symbol of the continuity of generations, our glorious winning traditions, and the boldest hopes for the future!
