Sofia Gaer shared third place at the World School Chess Championship
The tournament was held in Roquetas de Mar, Spain
Our Sofia competed in the Girls Under-13 category. After opening the event with four consecutive victories, she unfortunately slowed down somewhat and finished with 7.5 points out of 11. Sofia shared 3rd–7th place, missing out on the bronze medal by only half a point on tie-break — but it was still an excellent result!
