Alisa Yunker Harvests a Medal Haul in Almaty!

At the sixth stage of Kazakhstan’s Children’s Cup, Maralsay 2026, our rising star was unstoppable in both classical chess and blitz

No sooner had Alisa begun representing the Moscow Region than she claimed yet another impressive victory. Like several of our young players before her, she travelled to the Kazakhstan Children’s Cup stage as part of an international cooperation programe.

In the classical event, Alisa finished fifth overall and took first place among girls. In blitz, she added even more to her collection: a bronze medal in the overall standings, another gold among girls, and an impressive 80-point boost to her already strong rating.
