Boris Savchenko won a round-robin tournament in Tashkent
An international tournament was dedicated to the 34-th anniversary of Uzbekistan independence

The tournament was organized from September 22 till September 30 in the building of Uzbekistan chess federation in Tashkent. 10 chess players from Armenia, Belarus, Russia, Israel, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan played a tournament in 1 round.
The grandmaster from the Moscow Region passed the tournament without any defeats, scoring 7 points out of 9 and added 21 Elo points. A grandmaster from Belarus Mikhail Nikitenko showed the same result but his coefficient was worse. The third place was won by Bakhrom Bakhrillaev from Uzbekistan with 6 points.
