Young chess eagles fly to Tuapse
Young chess players from all over Russia are going to the Krasnodar Region to take part in a unique chess shift in the All-Russian children’s recreation center “Orlenok”

On October 6 the participants of the program “Sergey Karjakin’s chess club chess shift” took a train to Tuapse from Moscow. A centralized transfer, organized by the Moscow Region Chess Federation under the support of “United Russia” political party, will comfortably and safely take the young chess players to their destination point. All the participants of the program will gather together in one of the best Russian children’s centers on October 7.
The shift in “Orlenok” is aimed to praise 50 young chess players, who became prize winners and showed an outstanding performance in the selection tournament “Chess shift-2025” which was carried out in Sergey Karjakin’s chess clubs located under the auspice of “United Russia” branch offices.
Within the three-week time the kids will be able to take part in tournaments, master classes and lectures of the leading Russian coaches alongside with theoretical and practical classes. Besides the young players will continue their school studies in order not to break the education process.
The time will also be dedicated to some leisure – thematical events, excursions, concerts and artistic evenings.
The major event of the shift is a visit to “Orlenok” by the multiple world champion and the Russian senator Sergey Karjakin. Not only the participants of the chess shift but also other kids will have a chance to meet the grandmaster. Six best chess players of the program will get a unique chance to participate in a simultaneous exhibition against Sergey Karjakin.
